Mullen's Imitation French Dressing

Our best seller! A pouring type dressing that is light and sweet, with just the right amount of spices. It is called "imitation" because it contains about half the fat of a regular French dressing.

For many decades J.D. Mullen marketed this delicious dressing Americans have loved, no matter what is was called. in order to meet state and federal law requirements, we chose to change the name rather than add more oil to the original recipe. You'll find this delightful pouring type dressing light and delicious.

The "Imitation" is Mr. Mullen's original French Sauce.  To be called a "French Dressing", it must have 35% oil or fat.  Our "Imitation French" has about 1/2 of that. There are no artificial or imitation ingredients in it.  It contains Apple Cider Vinegar, cane sugar, corn oil, prepared mustard, paprika, salt, and spices.  Mullen's French is made with the same ingredients, just reapportioned to taste as much as possible as the original, but have the required amount of oil.
