Mullen’s French Pasta Salad

1 pkg. colored spiral pasta
3/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped green pepper
Mullen’s Imitation French Dressing

Take care not to overcook pasta, drain and rinse. Mix in onion, green pepper. Add enough Mullen’s Imitation French Dressing to cover pasta, chill several hours or overnight. Add more dressing if necessary.

For delicious variations, add bacon bits, crab meat, cheese, boiled eggs, carrots, or other raw vegetables.

Barbecued Spareribs

Ribs (1 lb. per serving)
1 garlic clove, diced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. salt per lb. of ribs
Mullen’s Barbecue Sauce

Place ribs in large kettle with all ingredients (except barbecue sauce). Cover ribs with water and bring to a boil. Simmer covered for one hour. Remove ribs from water and let cool. Brush ribs with Mullen’s Barbecue Sauce. Broil or grill ribs over a medium fire for approximately 20 minutes. Baste often with Mullen’s Barbecue Sauce.

Cocktail Meatballs in Barbecue Dip

1 lb. hamburger
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup cracker crumbs
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 & 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 & 1/4 cup Mullen’s Barbecue Sauce

Saute onions in butter until soft (do not brown). Combine 1 & 1/4 cup Mullen’s Barbecue Sauce with onions in crock pot and warm. Mix meat and all other ingredients, form into balls 3/4” in diameter. Brown balls in oil, drain and add to sauce mixture in crock pot. Offer toothpicks to your guests for a delicious self-serve snack.

Stuffed Hot-Dogs

Hot-dogs, plump dogs work best
Cheese (your choice)
Mullen’s Barbecue Sauce
Pickle relish
Bacon (of course)

Slit the hot-dogs lenghtwise to 1/4” inch from each end, do not cut in half. Stuff the hot-dogs with cheese and relish and pour on Mullen’s Barbecue Sauce. Wrap a slice of raw bacon around each hot-dog. Grill until bacon is crisp. Mmmmm!
