Cocktail Meatballs in Barbecue Dip

1 lb. hamburger
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup cracker crumbs
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1 & 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 & 1/4 cup Mullen’s Barbecue Sauce

Saute onions in butter until soft (do not brown). Combine 1 & 1/4 cup Mullen’s Barbecue Sauce with onions in crock pot and warm. Mix meat and all other ingredients, form into balls 3/4” in diameter. Brown balls in oil, drain and add to sauce mixture in crock pot. Offer toothpicks to your guests for a delicious self-serve snack.
